Updates: (Search date code to find) 191108: First published 191109: Added PDP-11s, KIM1, EDB9301, MMT-85, S100 & FloppyDrives ----------------------------------- In 2019 I had a major health incident, if curious see: http://www.classiccmp.org/dunfield/2019.txt Since I do not anticipate being able to drive any time soon, we will be selling our fairly large country home and getting a much smaller place in the city (where there are busses). Over the next year (or two depending on how it goes), I will be setting or otherwise offering the results of 30 years collecting. First to be sold is my classic computer collection. Had hoped to turn it into a museum oneday but thats not going to happen. Much of the lesser systems in my collection have already gone, however these are what remains. This material is located near Ottawa Ontario Canada and is old/rare/fragile enough that I would prefer not to ship it. Most systems have not been run in some time, but we working when last tried. Prices are not yet set, I would be happy to entertain offers, and also for any assistance in determining what these are worth. Some have full documentation and some are "just the system". Most of these can be seen on my "Daves Old Computers" website: http://www.classiccmp.org/dunfield/2019.txt Note that my commercial site "dunfield.com" and associated email' addresses expired while I was in hospital and we have been unable to contact EMON to get it back. I will update this document as I get more information. I also have A LOT of other technical material to dispose of, I will add sections at the end as it is inventoried. Should be able to make them because I created a simulator at one time with images of all the disks. I also have quite a few 10-sector disks from other systens. Most likely you will need to toggle in a simple serial loader through the front panel and send and run NorthStar-DOS - it knows how to format and write a disk, so you should be able to create a boot disk. Have original January and February issues of Popular Electronics which featured the debut of the Altair. ----------------------------------- MITS ALTAIR 8800 Installed S100 cards: MITS 8080 CPU BD rev 0 MITS 4K RAM BD. MITS 4K SYNCHRONUS BD. (Contains C2107B rams) MITS 88 SIO-B serial with MITS MODEM BS attached Runs, can use front panel, can try to execute empty memory. If you add the NorthStar Disk controllers under S100 cards and patch the serial I/O functions, you should be able to get to a booting system as described above. ----------------------------------- IMSAI 8080 - Spare front panel Installed S100 cards: IMS 8080A MPU-A REV4 TECHNICAL DESIGN the Z16 16k RAM board Unknown possible memory card (has jumpers labled "Memory Access") SEALS ELECTRONICS ROM card has C4702A installed IMSAI PROG-8 2708 EPROM programmer IMSAI PIO bd Homebuilt serial bd - contains 2 INS8250N uarts (sockets for 4) Sigma Computers E-HDD Multi-I/O bd Commodore PET CBM 2001 Runs, can use front panel, execute but no code loaded. ----------------------------------- MIL MOD-8 system Incomplete but much if it is there.
