As others have said, Apple is unlikely to make it so that you can run it
on anything but their hardware. Assuming they don't use the Pentium
D/Palladium DRM crap for that, I'm sure it won't be long before it's
possible to run it on anything, though. Just look at Mac-On-Linux.

There's many more reasons that this could be the death knell for Apple.
For one thing, they're going to start directly competing with Dell et
al for sales, which isn't such a great idea.
