Rumor has it that Curt @ Atari Museum may have mentioned these words:

Googling around, I found a good big picture of a Twinax female->female 
connector:

That's Twinax... ;-)

Quite often nowadays, Twinax is run on pins 4 & 5 of an Ethernet cable, and 
have a Twinax Balun on either end...
