Urgh, yeah - been there, done that. FYI, there seem to be two flavours 
of mini jumpers too - some with the same profile as a normal sized 
jumper, and others which are very flat (often seen in WD or Quantum 
drives IIRC). I have a feeling they're not the same pin spacing...

I always make a point of pulling them off any drives I scrap, and I can 
*still* never find any when I need them! :)
