Well a friend has one in his lab, and he reports using it but he
didn't specify what was on the other end of the conversation with the
terminal.  I'll ask him about it.

I remember seeing one of these around 1980 and we were a PDP-11 shop,
so if it could *only* be connected to a VAX I don't know what we were
doing with one.
