I'm all for linking.  In fact, the site is linked all over the web, and I
love that.

IMHO, no one should need permission to link.  If you put a site on the
public web, then anyone can link to it.  The whole point of hypertext,
right?

Prudent quoting is just as okay-dokey.  My problem is with wholesale
copying.
