Jerome Fine replies:
If you are running V05.00 OF RT-11 or later, you will
find that the HELP command probably provides most of
the same information as the "quick reference" manual.
The DCL (DEC Command Language) interface provides a
broad range of commands such as COPY, DIR, RENAME,
etc. which are similar to what DOS adopted - DOS might
have lifted its set of names from RT-11, since back
in 1980, I doubt if anyone had attempted to trademark
the COPY command.
provides a list of the possible commands.
If you attempted to send a reply and the original e-mail
address has been discontinued due a high volume of junk
e-mail, then the semi-permanent e-mail address can be
obtained by replacing the four characters preceding the
'at' with the four digits of the current year.
