I have had excellent success casting plastic replicas of these. They're a
lot
easier than the switch handles :-)!

They might, but I'd worry that they would damage the tapered plastic
cylinders
they mate with. That would be much worse.

I'm molding them one at a time (at about an hour in the mold each), but the
cost seems quite moderate. (There is a minute or two's worth of trimming
for each one, too.)
I'm leaving them white -- I haven't tried to dye them black, to match the
DEC
ones.
