Yea, but at least the datalayer is in the *middle* of the disk instead of 
on the top... ;-)

I noticed at wallyworld that they had some "Toughened" CD/DVD media that 
was supposed to have extra-strong layering to resist scratches better... [[ 
Methinks it was originally designed for DVD-based camcorders ]] That might 
not be a bad alternative...
