I don't know what your Freecycle community is like, but around here, 
I typically see two working NTSC TV's per week.  Last week had both 
13" and 32" models offered up.

Ya can't get much cheaper than that.  It's also a convenient place to 
get rid of old (but not vintage)  PeeCee gear and monitors.  The 
stuff will get used.
