None of the recent desktops I've seen have one, but some of the most 
recent Toshiba laptops do, interestingly.  I almost bought one for that 
very reason.

True.  Fortunately, the USB-to-RS232 adapters I've seen recently work 
well, unlike some I saw a year or two ago.
