SAGE tube

Is the massive SAGE complex close by in Newburgh, NY gutted out?   I had 
heard (most likely in a thread on cctalk) that someone wanted to level 
the complex for commercial use - a process next to impossible without 
the aid of several thermonuclear devices ;-)
