For my 7104 1GHz scope, I have 2x7A29 for vertical inputs, and a 
7B10/7B15 timebase pair for horizontal (standard + delayed sweep).

For a 7904A, 2x7A19 is all that is really needed for vertical (it is a 
single 50ohm input 500MHz amp) plus a 7B92A gives you normal + delayed 
sweep. This leaves an extra horizontal slot open.

7A19s are usually readily available on eBay, and 7B92As are pretty 
common as well.
