I was thinking of the same 3D structure you were thinking. In fact, I
have used a bundle of 10Ohm resistors in parallel wired to a bunch of 9V
batteries in parallel to ignite a chemical fuse in a timed explosive.
90VDC shouldn't hurt you too bad, as long as your skin is dry when you
tough the terminals.
