What are the really unusual or weird computers?

I can't get at my copy right now, but it might be worth investigating DR's 
"Concurrent" DOS?

ISTR running it on a '386, with a multi-port serial card, sometime in the 
early-mid 90's....it worked pretty well from what I remember.
