   No, Steve's magazine articles are *not* present in that book.  It  
is an entirely separate work.  And an excellent one, at that.

   I have a bunch of issues of BYTE, but none of the very old ones  
unfortunately.  (I'd sure like to get them eventually)  I do,  
however, have all of Steve Ciarcia's books.  I'll be scanning the  
"Program Your Next EROM in BASIC" article for you in the next few  
minutes.
