I've always considered the original 800XL keyboard to be the best of all 
their 8-bit line, I personally found the springs in the 800's keyboard just 
a little too stiff to type on comfortably for extended periods.

I must admit I've never gotten around to powering mine up, though without 
the case/keyboard there's not a lot I can do with it....
