Thankfully I missed the 300 baud (and earlier) era - but I still landed in the 
middle of 2400 times, and that was painful enough! Although I seem to remember 
being perfectly happy when things progressed to 33.6K - I couldn't imagine 
making use of anything faster, and all the various non-WWW services did all 
that I could ever need.
