Heh. I saw it back around then and remember thinking what an utter waste of 
time it all was - I was perfectly content with Gopher, FTP, telnet, and 
various inter-system instant messaging clients :-) The web was of little use.

15 years later and I still think it's a shame people push web-based services 
above anything else; so much more could be done with the concept of a vast 
computer network...
