   The only one I've seen that does (my first was a 545A) is the 453. 
NOT the -A variant, but the original 453.  Fantastic trace quality.

   I agree.  They fetch serious money on eBay.  HP has a history of 
discontinuing products when there's still significant demand.  Dumb, 
dumb, dumb.
