40k Ferrite Memory Core

Yes, it truly sucks. I know that I've gotten to know a lot of folks in this community through the bidding histories for various items. I recall being on various email threads where a lot of us professed reluctance to get into bidding wars with each other that artificially inflate the prices of vintage items. Needless to say, that's contrary to eBay's interest in generating the greatest possible fees, and I believe that was the motivation behind this change. I don't buy the arguments about "increasing customer safety" - I can't think of a single plausible scenario where I was "threatened" by the old UI, and many ways that benefited me. In any case, I find myself shopping eBay less than I once did.... -- Ian

I hadn't noticed yet, but that sucks.
