My big concern with CF is that it might be sunsetted in the near 
future.  SD in its various incarnations seems to be gaining on CF and 
I wonder if we'll be bidding for the last bit of "NOS" CF in a few 
years.  High-speed serial interfaces seem to be the way of the 
future.

I haven't seen any CF cards with write cycle life ratings in the 
millions yet.  Maybe I lead an isolated existence.

This goes back to the question of "If you needed to design a product 
with non-volatile storage capabilities with an anticipated product 
life of 10 years, what would you choose?"  How about 20 years?
