It's not really an "audio tweak" valve, at least not in the UK.  It's a
bog standard entry-level dual triode used in the preamp stage of just
about any guitar amp you care to look at ;-)

The fact that audiophiles love them seems pretty funny.  Us amp builders
love them for their second-harmonicy crunch...
