I've been using a product for electricians by Gardner Bender, Ox Gard, same basic silicone grease, but it contains zinc crystals, which are chemically sacrificial (mainly for mixed aluminum and copper) and mechanically pokie on the contact surface. I wonder if the DC4 would be any better with gold plated contacts?
