   Writing a CP/M BIOS is surprisingly easy, but knowing Z80 assembler 
would be a good start. :)

   I learned CP/M BIOS hacking from "The Programmer's CP/M Handbook" by 
Andy Johnson-Laird, perhaps the very best CP/M book I've ever seen.
