FWIW, I sometimes called Smudge (the neighbour's black nad white cat also 
shown in my photos on flickr) 'Bustopher Jones'. In his younger days he 
was 'remarkably fat' and had a 'coat or fastidious black' with 'white spats'

Yes 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' is one of the few non-technical 
books I own...
