On the top of the cartridge there is bunch of clips in a circular 
pattern.
If you squeeze all these in at once, either carefully with your fingers 
or with some tube that is just the right size to squeeze them all in at 
once, you can then slide  the clear cover off the top.
The tape is a bit fiddly to wind back up and get back under the cover 
once you have it opened.
