Hi Scott
As was mentioned earlier, although it seem strange, the takeup
requires some tension on the feed reel to keep things running properly.
Even when rewinding, there needs to be some tension or the system doesn't
work. This is just the opposite of whqt one would think. oiling to make
it rotate easier would make it worse not better.
