Don't forget some systems are very picky on chip density so just because it
uses PC100 for example it might not be able to use higher density chips. My
6BA Gigabyte motherboard is picky on chip density for PC100 SIMMs. I also
found that 512MB PC133 DIMMs don't like being mixed and matched with other
brands.
