Closest thing that I can find in current production are the AMP Diplomate
DL series sockets.  According to the spec sheet, they rise about 5.3 mm
above the PCB and are classified as "Over the component" type.

The Augat brand seems to be have been assimilated into AMP (itself a
division of Tyco).
