Need help reading IBM System/36 disks

Are they in standard IBM format, i.e. volume header (VOL1) on sector 7, 
directory entries (HDR1) beginning on sector 8, entry size 128 bytes, 
EBCDIC?

If yes, I can read and write them (I did this for my 5110 disks). Another 
way would be to create a disk dump (e.g. with AnaDisk) and copy the 
relevant sectors into a new file.
