My question is, why? Not all the releases are worth running. Only the
decent milestones are worth installing. Solaris 2.5.1 IIRC is the last
version to run on sparc pizza boxes (5/10/20s) and possibly earier;
Solaris 9 is the last version to run on all 64-bit Ultras; Solaris 10 is
very impressive from a networking and virtualization standpoint (plus
ZFS kicks some serious ass) and is what you should be running if at all
possible. All other versions can hit the road for all I care (unless
you need BSD SunOS 4.x for 1980s hardware).
