 At a place where I used to work in the late 80s, many
people used to do just that (there was a thriving C64
"underground" down at the calibration lab.
Muahahahaha). I don't remember the details, never
hacked into my 64c and did it, but it was a relatively
simple affair as I recall. A momentary push button
switch, a hole drilled in the back. Something pulled
to ground I suppose. Sorry, that's all I remember :(
 There's bound to be some Commie forums somewhere in
Netland where you could find help with that.
