It might be harder than you think. The CoCo used the 6809E -- that is the 
external clock version, which took separate E and Q clocks from the SAM 
chip. I thought all 6502-family chips had internacl clock geenrators, and 
getting on to sync to the SAM's E and Q clocks might well be hard.
