Purposefully fudged schematics

Yes, I can't figure that either. Surely it just annoys customers, plus incurs 
printing costs for the manufacturer? Why not just not release any schematics 
in the first place?

A very strange practice indeed.  I've seen errors on schematics before, but 
I've not heard of them being deliberate.
