The other way to do it is to remove IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS (or IBMBIO.COM 
and IBMDOS.COM) from your hard drive and leave both floppy drives empty. 
  If memory serves, it will tell give you the non-system disk error 
message a couple of times before dumping you to ROM BASIC.
