Multiplexing Nixies

Looking at the datasheet for the non multiplexed GN4 nixie the different
cathode currents are given as ..

Cathode current            2mA
Maximum continuous current 3mA
Maximum pulse current      4mA

.. So from that I'd guess multiplexed nixies are a special breed.
