I still have the PCTD16.  Yeah, you're right--it's got a bunch of 
PALs (16L8) but no FPGA like the PCTD3 (that needs to have firmware 
downloaded from the host and is slow as molasses anyway).

I'd love to see a copy of the API software for the PCTD16, alone with 
whatever docs you have.  Chi is absolutely no help on this stuff.

I'm even willing to reverse-engineer the software and work up a x386 
driver for Linux or (gasp!) even Windoze XP/2K.  I've already made up 
a cable adapter with 2 50-pin male ribbon headers on a small board 
attached to the 68-pin D-sub, so I'm ready to go.
