  They were both 8and 16bit systems and MSdos was run from 8" on the 16bitters.

Add:

  DECmate-1
  PDP-11 (various using RX01 and RX02)
  DEC PDT11/150 was a small box '11 with two 8" floppies.

  IBM S36 systems though I believe it was for IPL.
  Smaller (physical size) Wang systems

  There were a great many systems that used or were standard with 8"
  Floppies.
