I'd have to go back to checking old BBS email--yeah, that's how far 
back it was.  Dial-in BBS, no internet.  Since scrounging old PC's 
with ISA diskette controllers is getting into "real antque" status, I 
don't know how useful the information will be.  The note that I made 
on the Intel mobos was only because I had 'em and tested them.  I've 
also got some roughly contemporary Amptron VIA chipset boards that 
don't do FM at all.
