The 3279 (for which I'm looking for a few clean examples, if I can find 
them...) is so heavy that if one falls out of the back of a truck, 
they'd have to replace the pavement.  I have some sales docs which 
mention desk strength requirements.  The 3279 is a good bit heavier than 
the 3278.
