8251 troubles

Hi
 Plugged in a new 8251A and exactly the same problem.
I'm wondering if the DI instruction is not working
and it is just overflowing the interrupts. I can try swapping
the 8080. I can also try putting some dummy code in there
to see if it dies over some time.
 Still a strange problem.
