I have some of the hardware development tools that Software Results used
for making COMBOARDs - on the order of $10K and $20K new.  We were able
to cheap-out on the software by writing our own 68K assembler for the VAX,
or that would have been several thousand more $$$ (this is in the same
timeframe as the 5150, BTW, 1981-1983 or so).
