Classic >1960 HP serials always mention the country of production.
Format XX (year +1960) XX (month) Y (country code) XXXXXXXXXXXX (serial)
2823G123456 made year 1988 week 23 in Germany serial 123456
A = USA
G = Germany
F = France
S = Signapore
B = Brazil
