Can you elaborate on this?  I'm not sure I understand what you mean by
this comment.

They seem to provide a mechanism for customizing the base
functionality with installation profiles.  They list a bunch of
installation profiles that are already created that provide metadata
for digital media and other applications here:

Does that cover digital asset management as you see it?
