On the other hand, Steve Jobs wasn't really just a marketing wizard – he was a visionary, although some of his visions were less than great. He was also a stickler for perfection and largely unwilling to make compromises.

So, Steve Jobs may not have invented the personal computer, or graphical user interfaces, but he should get some of the credit for the fact that we're not all running Windows on variations of crappy PC hardware.
