We're using the technology at work and I like it. We have a rather base
OS install for the physical server and run up to a dozen or so "virtual
servers" on said system. It's nice becauase each "virtual server" can have
its own OS install and it's easy to move them from server to server if need
be (in fact, my company workstation and personal webserver are virtual
servers). You can also increase the disk space or memory as needed per
virtual server.
