The Creator/Maintainer

Jeff Armstrong maintains the Rainbow 100 Home Page. I have been a Rainbow 100 user since they were available. I still actively use the Rainbow 100 and enjoys programming and playing games on it. My Turbow-286 Rainbow has appeared at vintage computer shows, including the Cleveland Classic Computer and Gaming Show and the Vintage Computer Festival East 1.0, where it won third prize for best exhibit. Comments and suggestions about the page can be sent to: jba@_nospam_.sdf.lonestar.org (remember to remove the portion of the address surrounded by underscores). Thanks for visiting!

The Server

The server space for this webpage has been graciously provided by The ClassicCmp Website and its maintainer Jay West. Please visit his site and join the mailing list, where classic computers of all types are discussed!

The WebPage

This current incarnation of the Rainbow 100 Home Page represents the third iteration of the page. Two previous versions have existed in the past, but they have been lost. All of the archives, however, remain. The first iteration of the Rianbow 100 Home Page was served from a Pentium 133MHz in my dorm room at Case Western Reserve University. The second, which was much improved, was available on the Tripod website. After the site was shutdown by Tripod (without warning), the page was offline for years. This version of the Rainbow 100 Home Page represents a complete rewrite. It was created using Quanta+ 2.0 on an HP 715/100 PA-RISC workstation running Debian "Woody" Linux.
