Still Under Construction... (Always! :-)

I started these to be able to better organize data on a lot of different parts I either have on hand or have run into fairly often, without having to find and then dig through numerous databooks, most of which I don't have shelf space for or don't have, period.

I'm not providing any "branded" stuff that refers to some other web page!

If you see parts listed but there's no data (there are a number of these in the transistors page for sure), it's because I have one or more of those parts but haven't found any data yet. By all means feel free to send me some, if you have it. Or datasheets on parts which don't show a link, if you have those. Or any others that you might care to send along.

I'm not fond of having to scroll pages horizontally. If your display shows a horizontal scroll bar, try a smaller font or a different one. I started these pages on a machine that would only display 800x600, which is why I use so many abbreviations, though I currently test the pages on a machine that's at 1024x768. Higher resolutions should hopefully display without horizontal scrolling at all.

If you want to mirror these pages please feel free, just three conditions attached to that:

1. Don't take my name off stuff and try and take credit for it, this was a lot of work to put together!
2. Please keep mirrored copies up to date. Check back at least once a month for newer files, the dates are listed here.
3. Please take the whole thing, completely, or none of it. Or at least all of the html.

If you are a hobbyist or are trying to do a repair and need some part that's not available through the usual sources, and you're okay with "pulls" (used parts!) feel free to email me about what you need and I'll see what I can do -- I have lots of scavenged resistors, caps, specialized chips, and other stuff that isn't listed in these charts.

I also have a lot of "New Old Stock (NOS)" parts that I've had on hand for ages, as well, and am collecting more all the time. See this page for more details.

No "branding", no registration required, no arbitrary limits to only so many datasheets, no stupid renaming them to the same thing for all of them so that someone downloading several needs to do more typing, no multiple layers of stuff to go through to get at them, and no cookies -- just pick a page, and click a link. If you can think of improvements that I can make, I'm open to suggestions. If you like what I'm doing and would care to contribute anything, be it cash (in any form), parts, databooks, or whatever, feel free to email me -- I could use all the help I can get at this point and all contributions of whatever size are gladly accepted. A PayPal account makes that easier...

These will be in a continual state of flux as I acquire more data on more parts. If you happen to see a part that's listed but for which there isn't any data please feel free to forward it to me, and I'll fill it in. Listing it with no data usually means I have one or more of those parts on hand here and am wondering what I can do with them.

March 30, 2008 -- Divided the "by manufacturer number" page up into several sections, it was just getting too big.

November 11, 2007 -- Added a bunch more datasheets, altered the structure of the charts somewhat, omitting the "Substitute" column -- there's no way in hell I'll ever find the time to fill much of that in! Started working my way through 3 DVDs I was sent but the darn drive crapped out partway through the first one. Anybody have a spare that works?

October 7, 2006 -- Added some color coding to transistor pages, paypal logo stuff.

August 14, 2006 -- Added a few more diodes, moved a few LEDs and bridges from diode file to those files.

August 12, 2006 -- Added Semiconductor Manufacturer Logos page.

August 2, 2006 -- Added some more datasheets, mostly transistors.

July 22, 2006 -- Pulled gmail address from the setup, see my home page for more details about why.

June 27, 2006 -- Corrected some wonky email addresses, fixed bad directory name in optos file, minor additional parts.

June 23, 2006 -- Added paypal link. :-)

June 4, 2006 -- Some more chip datasheets (unbranded), and slight updates to this page.

June 1, 2006 -- Finishing uploading all of the chip datasheets.

May 19. 2006 -- The 2SBxxxx and 2SCxxxx datasheets are online and the links in those charts should (mostly) work now.

May 8, 2006 -- The tube, 2Nxxxx, and 2SAxxxx datasheets are online and the links in those charts should work now.

April 30, 2006 -- Copied these pages to a new hosting site, which offers the promise of me being able to put the datasheets on the site as well as these charts, as I find the time to check them out and upload them. Bear in mind that I'm both looking for work and also limited to a dialup connection so this will take me a while! :-)

April 3, 2006 -- Added much more in tubes page, minor updates elsewhere, added the wanted/for sale page as well.

March 12, 2006 -- Added vacuum tubes page.

March 4, 2006 -- Same as last time.

February 1, 2006 -- More updates, particularly ICs by mfr. number.

October 1, 2005 -- Uploaded major updates of these transistor files, mostly in the 2S numbers.

August 25, 2005 -- Split the 2S transistors files into several more parts.

August 5, 2005 -- Split the transistors file into three parts, compacted the layout some, perhaps you'll find the bits you want a little easier to deal with. Added more transistors, too.

June 2, 2005 -- Updated some files, changed the format of the above to be a table instead of a list, and added the sizes of the files and the last time it was updated to make it easier on you who are using this info. :-)
