Where do you live? I'm located in Eurpe.
I'm considering to give one or more of my smaller VAXen away for free.
I was given a lot of hardware for free myself, and the time will come when
I shall hand over some items into the hands of someone else, especially
when he or she is younger than me ...

Well, I used to live in Sweden, but the last 31 years I have lived in the
US, in Georgia. That's where I live now.
I would love to take over one of your machines but I am thinking shipping
one to the US would cost quite a bit.
I do hope you find good homes for them when you are ready.

Very interesting thread. I was kinda thinking too
that someone running
VMS
on a machine for hobby use would be too small of
a potato to go after.
Incidentally, what would y'all value a MicroVAX 3100 at? I am looking at
one on eBay for $550 but am considering making a lower offer.
I have no details about it so don't know the amount of memory and such.

Guildford bought up the name in 1998 after their name became mud in New
England. They are owned by CSX now. I see them at the local train yard
that
CSX has in town.
